Our Guest Speakers

Dr Dadiso Motsi-Omoijiade, is an analyst in Science and Emerging Technology at RAND Europe. Her research includes emerging technologies like quantum technology, nuclear energy and extended reality, Blockchain, and AI, covering technical, legal, and regulatory aspects with a focus on their industry applications. Dr Motsi-Omoijiade held roles at Lloyds Banking Group and the University of Birmingham, with an internship at the University of Cambridge. She's active in a number of committees, including the British Standards Institute (BCI) and UCL’s Centre for Blockchain Technology. Dr Motsi-Omoijiade holds a Masters in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, a Masters in Law and a PhD in Cryptocurrency regulation from the University of Warwick.

Adam Rizzo, partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (UK) LLP, is a disputes lawyer with a focus on high-stakes litigation and regulatory enforcement. He represents clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by various regulators including the Financial Reporting Council, Financial Conduct Authority, Serious Fraud Office and the Insolvency Service. Adam also conducts internal investigations for companies and boards of directors and advises clients in the technology, energy and finance sectors on the UK financial sanctions regime. As part of his wider commercial disputes practice, Adam acts on disputes for professional services firms, financial institutions and technology companies.

Deborah Webster, Board member of MBN U.K., is a visionary, viewing the world through a unique lens that uncovers overlooked patterns and solutions. Operating at the nexus of business, technology and humanity for the last 15 years, Deborah has steered leaders, investors and entrepreneurs towards building resilient and ethical companies and technology in both emerging and mature markets.
