Empowering Maltese Businesses Through Networking Since 2011.

The Malta Business Network was established through discussions among Joseph Zammit Tabona, Christopher Jackson, and Simon Galea, aiming to unite stakeholders in support of Maltese businesses.

Initially formed in December 2011 at the Malta High Commission in Piccadilly, London, it evolved into a company limited by guarantee in 2012. Under Mr. Zammit Tabona's leadership, a Committee was formed, and in October 2013, a subsidiary, The Malta Business Network (Malta) Ltd., was launched.

Since then, the MBN has rapidly expanded, attracting members from diverse professions and industries united by their interest in Malta.

MBN Chapters

Since it was set up, The MBN established itself as a highly effective and influential network within the Maltese and UK professional and business communities.

Malta Chapter

Metings take place on the third Monday of the month and are typically held at Xara Lodge, l/o Rabat between 6pm and 8.30pm.

Meet the Administrators

Joseph Zammit Tabona

Mr Joseph Zammit Tabona is the Founder of the Malta Business Network, which was set up in December 2011 and went on to set up the Malta Chapter in July 2013.

Martin V. Zahra

Martin Zahra, an experienced board member and Chairman of the Malta Business Network UK, is a renowned consultant in the travel and tourism sector. With a strong background in commercial strategy, operations, and branding, his expertise is sought after worldwide.

Anthony H. Farrugia

Anthony owns and operates Cyber Pass Ltd., leading innovations in telematics and IoT. Alongside his son, Nicholas, he expanded the company into overseas markets, particularly in Africa. Anthony, a London-trained accountant, is also an avid golfer and musician.

Noreen Burroughes Cesareo

Noreen Burroughes Cesareo is an international thought leader specializing in strategy, marketing, trade, and gender. As founder of Market Accents, she brings extensive global experience and holds key board positions with organizations like the Malta Business Network, the UK APPG for women and trade, and OWIT International.

Chris Naudi

Chris, a Chartered Accountant with 24 years as a Tax Partner at EY Malta, holds leadership roles in professional bodies. As a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Malta Institute of Accountants, he's been instrumental in education and examination committees.

Tonio Fenech

Dr. Tonio Fenech, co-founder of Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal, specializes in corporate law, trusts, and finance. With extensive experience in legal practice and academia, he leads multi-disciplinary professional services and serves as Honorary Consul of Lebanon to Malta.

Deborah Webster

Deborah, a global advocate for ethical leadership, empowers Maltese entrepreneurs from her base in the UAE. With a decade of research, she champions responsible business practices through her innovative framework, AMANI™.
