Join us on Tuesday May 31 at 6pm at the National Liberal Club in Whitehall for an evening of networking and meet with our guest speaker Emily Robinson who will talk about Climate Change and her experiences at COP26.
Emily is currently the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Pico Analytics – working on Sustainability Disclosures, Climate Risk Impact and ESG Regulations into Asset Management, Pension Fund, and Hedge Fund strategies. She has over 15 years of experience in banking and financial services in New York and London, managing client relationships with major hedge funds, banks, pension funds, and asset managers. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Emily has lived and worked in Germany, Portugal, and settled in the UK over 11 years ago.
Emily has a certificate in Business Sustainability and International Business Practice from the University of Cambridge and a BA (Honours) in International Relations, German, and European Studies from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Emily also recently completed an 18-month program with the Renewable Energy Institute in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), earning a Master in Renewable Energy Award.
In 2017, Emily was trained by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore as a Certified Climate Reality Project Leader in order to promote education and understanding about climate change. Emily is a former Trustee for Bread and Water for Africa UK, and is currently a Trustee and the Honorary Secretary for the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council (CHEC).
At the National Liberal Club, Emily is Vice Chair of Media of both the Commonwealth Forum and European Forum.
Places are free for members and their guests although these may need to be limited depending on the final numbers, so please register early.
