Malta’s flagship conference on the economy, business, and foreign investment, EY-Parthenon’s Future Realised Conference (formerly known as the Malta Attractiveness Event), returns on the 18th October in person at the Malta Mediterranean Conference Centre, featuring Malta’s Prime Minister, Robert Abela and Opposition Leader, Bernard Grech. As a follow-up to this annual conference, we’re hosting a networking event on 24th October that will commence with a distilled round up of the event led by EY Malta's Chris Naudi (EY Malta Tax Partner), and Simon Barberi, (EY Malta Consulting Director).

Chris Naudi is a Partner in the Tax Service Line of EY Malta. He also heads the branding and marketing arm of the firm.He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London where he worked for a big-four firm for 5 years with 2 additional years in the Channel Islands.Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant.He is a Past-President of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners where he has sat on Council for the past 17 years and is a former Governor of FinanceMalta.Chris was a member of the Education Committee of the Malta Institute of Accountants for over 20 years and is a past examiner for the Institute.He is also the Contact Member for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales here in Malta.

Simon introduced EU Consulting Services when he joined EY in 2004.He has more than 25 years of professional experience with local and European business organisations. Simon provides various EU and national related services including programme and project evaluation, market research, EU funding, training, policy analysis, and economic and financial impact assessments.Simon has in-depth knowledge of the EU’s Cohesion Policy, the implementation of Structural Funds and of Malta’s EU Funding Programmes.Since 2011, Simon has led the Malta Attractiveness Survey and flagship national event, which focuses on foreign direct investment.Simon holds a BA in Management and Public Policy and an MA in European Studies, both from the University of Malta.
