Event Overview

Malta's introduction of a fit-for-purpose regulatory framework for family offices marks an important milestone in the island's ongoing evolution as a sophisticated financial centre. Combining robust regulation, an agile legal system, a favorable tax environment, and access to a skilled professional services ecosystem, Malta offers a compelling proposition for families seeking a trusted and cost-effective European base for their wealth management operations.

This panel brings together perspectives from the legal, banking, and advisory sectors to unpack the opportunities and challenges of the new framework, from compliance and governance to private banking services and long-term family wealth strategies. Whether you advise family offices, manage family wealth, or simply want to understand Malta's positioning as a growing hub for family offices, this discussion will offer valuable insights and practical takeaways.
