Thomas Cremona is a Maltese acquisition and business advisory professional. He holds the ACCA qualification, and began his career in the gaming sector — joining what is today known as Betway.com at its inception. He subsequently joined the Advisory division of KPMG in Malta, where he trained and practised in deal advisory under senior partners, learning the intricacies of how structured corporations operate across valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring and both buy-side and sell-side advisory.
In 2014, Thomas founded Casa Rooms Limited, a property management firm specialising in earnings maximisation for property owners. Under his leadership, the company grew its managed real estate portfolio to a value of approximately €30,000,000. Casa Rooms Limited was sold in early 2021 to VBL plc — a transaction that Thomas led as owner, founder and principal, giving him direct and personal experience of the full acquisition process, from preparation to close. In 2018, Thomas co-founded Casa Boutiques, a hotel management company providing management services to boutique hotels of 15 to 30 rooms across Malta, which he later divested of.
Since 2021, Thomas has worked as an independent Acquisition Readiness Advisor, advising owner-managed Maltese businesses on structured preparation for acquisition, business succession, and exit planning. He is also the founding principal of Azure Legacy, a private equity vehicle actively acquiring established Maltese businesses on behalf of a group of private investors.
