Chris, a Chartered Accountant with 24 years as a Tax Partner at EY Malta, holds leadership roles in professional bodies. As a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Malta Institute of Accountants, he's been instrumental in education and examination committees.
Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London where he worked for a big-four firm for 5 years with 2 additional years in the Channel Islands. Thereafter he spent a further 8 years with that firm in Malta but then made a career for himself spanning 24 years as a Tax Partner with EY Malta. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Past-President of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners where he has sat on Council for the over 19 years and is a former Governor of FinanceMalta.
Chris was a member of the Education Committee of the Malta Institute of Accountants for over 20 years and is a past examiner for that Institute. He is also the Contact Member for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in Malta.
