David is CEO of KPMG Crimsonwing, headquartered in Canary Wharf, London. He leads KPMG’s go to market and operational activities for Microsoft Business Solutions and Customer Digital engagement in the UK, The Netherlands, Malta and supports the wider KPMG global network. He is on the global leadership team for the KPMG Microsoft alliance.
David was the founder of Crimsonwing in 1996, an international software and services business which he took through a public listing in 2008. Core to the business strategy was the creation and development of a solution centre in Malta in 1998 and which helped initiate Malta as an ICT hub for Europe and which has since attracted over 400 IT related businesses.
David has in depth experience and knowledge on sales & business development, building strategic client and vendor relationships and orchestrating substantial solution and mission critical deliveries, including global deployments. David has also successfully negotiated, acquired and integrated new businesses and entered into new markets.
Previous to Crimsonwing David worked in IBM’s retail business and managed the European Retail Alliance. David is a mentor at King’s College Entrepreneurial Institute where he also provides the David Walsh scholarships to help promote new business ventures. David was awarded the Malta Order of Merit (M.O.M) by the President of Malta in 2010.
