MBNUK invites you to our April networking event at Orrick’s London office located in the historic financial district of the City of London on Tuesday 25th April 2023 at 6.00PM.
Our guest speaker and host for the evening is Adam Rizzo, Partner at Orrick. Adam will present key insights into the current landscape for sanctions and export control in the EU and the UK, and developments on the horizon for 2023.
Adam is a disputes lawyer with a focus on high-stakes litigation and regulatory enforcement. He represents clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by various regulators including the Financial Reporting Council, Financial Conduct Authority, Serious Fraud Office and the Insolvency Service. Adam also conducts internal investigations for companies and boards of directors. He advises clients in the technology, energy and finance sectors on the UK financial sanctions regime. As part of his wider commercial disputes practice, Adam acts on disputes for professional services firms, financial institutions and technology companies.
Orrick is a multinational practice of registered European and foreign lawyers and English solicitors who focus on serving the Technology & Innovation, Energy & Infrastructure and Finance sectors globally. They provide forward-looking commercial advice to local and international clients on transactions, litigation and compliance matters.
