Joseph Zammit Tabona

Chairman

Mr Joseph Zammit Tabona is the Founder of the Malta Business Network, which was set up in December 2011 and went on to set up the Malta Chapter in July 2013 and has been its Chairman since its inception. 

Mr Zammit Tabona served as Malta’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom & Northern Ireland between 2009 and 2013. During that time, he also served as Malta’s Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland.  

In August 1997 Mr. Zammit Tabona was conferred the significant honor of a knighthood of Magistral Grace by the Sovereign Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and Malta. On the 13^th of December 2016, the Government of Malta appointed Mr. Zammit Tabona a Member of the Order of Merit, and on the 14^th of December 2017, the Malta Stock Exchange plc awarded Mr Zammit Tabona with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

He previously served as Chairman of Malta Enterprise, Malta Stock Exchange plc and FinanceMalta and is currently Chairman of Valletta Cruise Port plc, which operates the Cruise Line Terminal in Valletta

Zammit Tabona is a Director of Klesch Group Limited, and Medserv plc and is also Chairman of Tigne Mall plc.
