Our guest speaker is Mr Peter Manning who will be talking about the global reach in his ventures, the VC/GC 2020 event and the new initiative with his Orchestra of five concert presentations headlining Malta’s new music talent in the UK and internationally.

Peter Manning is acknowledged as one of the leading figures in the Classical Music world. In a career which has seen him lead the world’s greatest orchestras, from the most recorded string quartet of its generation, direct and conduct leading orchestras and be asked to be an artistic festival director and a music education advisor within International capitals he truly embodies the spirit of the artist-musician for the 21 century.
He has lead the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Britten String Quartet and is the recently appointed Music Director of the Mozart Kinderorchester Salzburg and Artistic Director of the 3 Palaces festival Malta. He has since an early age toured and broadcast from the world’s major concert halls and on media and television as violinist, concertmaster and conductor.
He is passionate about spreading and making available the classical arts to a new generation from the widest social backgrounds, particularly to develop the musical arts as a ‘beating heart’ for future generations. He is guest conductor of the Dallas Opera Texas and takes a leading role in Opera, live performance and new programming – trend development both in Europe and in the United States.
He is developing and broadening access to the magnificent live performance centres both for young performers, new International audiences and is presenting the world’s greatest musicians in live performance to join and celebrate our deep and vital artistic legacy and the creation of new performance and work for future generations.
